At least 60 exhibitors have confirmed their participation in this years’ Agricultural society of Kenya (ASK) Show, South Nyanza branch, Kisii County.
The fair will start on11 July and close on 14 July at Gusii Stadium and Erera Golf playing grounds.
It is expected to attract a large number of people from all parts of the country.
Briefing journalists at the show ground, branch chairman, Julius Bosire said the number of exhibitors has increased compared to last year.
The exhibitors will showcase their products and services.
He said banking, learning and industrial institutions will exhibit under the theme of ‘Promoting innovation and technology in agriculture and trade’.
“Preparations are at advanced stage with exhibitors sprucing up their stands in readiness for the event,” he noted.
He said they have finalized security plans for the three day event.
Gates pass collections will be Ksh 150 for children and Ksh 200 for adults.
Special parties will be charged Ksh 150 for adults and ksh 100 for children.
“We also guarantee the public great entertainment lined up including funfairs for children and parents,” said Bosire.
At the same time, he advised farmers to take advantage of the show to learn new farming technologies which will help them in future as they seek to modernize their farming and maximize returns.
“I call upon farmers to take advantage of this show so that they can learn more farming technologies which will help them to increase their production,” he added.
